Richie Ramone contacted producer Chris Young after seeing him on The Real Housewives of New York. Since Richie was already in New York celebrating Joey Ramone?s Birthday the two were able to catch up.
Mr. Ramone explained to Mr. Young that his five year career with The Ramones resulted in him writing and owning the publishing on a few of the The Ramones' Songs. Richie who was interested in reproducing his work with a unique spin, knew Chris Young was the man to do it. The first order of business- to reproduce and remix ?Somebody Put Something In My Drink?, a hit written by Richie Ramone. Over the next few months the two will work on ?Smash You? ?Human Kind?, ?I know Better Now?, ?Can?t Say Anything Nice?, as well as new material written by the legendary rocker. They are planning to release the music in the fall of 2010.
